Purple Devil Production’s annual Nerdlesque Gala of Geek returns for its fourth year with nerdy burlesque homages to high fantasy tales about rings, spells, and grails. You’ll get geeky adulations to science, classic science fiction, video games, and whole lot more. We invite you to let your inner nerd take the spot light and celebrate with a night of unabashed, geeky love.


“The Seattle nerdlesque scene is strong and vibrant,” says Miss Violet DeVille, the creative director of Purple Devil Productions and a nerd of many stripes. “We have many amazing shows covering topics from animated features to video games, literary properties and steampunk. NERDZ4EVER, however, is a celebration of fandom in all of its epic diversity.”


NERDZ4EVER take the stage at the Re-Bar on September 13th for a geeky gala filled with more nerdiness than you can imagine.


Lowa De Boom Boom leads this nerdy ecdysiastic trove of performers headed by Whisper De Corvo, Jesus la Pinga, Miss Violet DeVille, Lexi Luthor, Miz Melancholy, Nickey Bourbon, Sin de la Rosa, Tawdry Quirks, Red Kryptonite, and Xiola Sans Peur.


The show is at 7:30 pm and doors open at 6:30 pm.


Tickets are available at the door for $20 and online from Brown Paper Tickets starting at $15 for General Admission, $25 for Premium Seats at a table in the front row, and $35 for VIP Seats at center stage with a table and a goody bag. Every pre-ordered ticket comes with a free gift.

Have an interest in dipping your toes into some burlesque and live in the northen Puget Sound? I am coming to the Bellingham Sex Positive Center to teach an intro to burlesque workshop for all genders, Burlesque with Miss Violet DeVille at the BSPC on September 21st. This 3 hour workshop begins at 1pm. There are 20 tickets available at $20 from Brown Paper Tickets.

With a rich history dating back to the 1800s, burlesque performers having been entertaining and enticing crowds with bawdy, alluring, and even comedic all while exciting and arousing them through the art of the tease. In this workshop for all bodies and genders we’ll explore some of the history of the risque art and some of the forms it’s taken over the years and why some reasons people do burlesque. We’ll do some tease and movement, we’ll examine costuming for deconstruction, using props for reveals, and more. By the end of the 3 hours you will have a basic introduction to burlesque and you’ll go home with resources to go further.
