Fore warned is fore armed.

And sometimes the enemy has a forearm, sometimes they don't. Such is the lot of zombie life. Fortunately, for those of us who wish to be prepared, there is the Zombie Research Society.

Hey, [livejournal.com profile] gaaneden, has Apocalypse Girl had a chance to review and comment on their findings? It might be useful. :)

Girly Girl Update

For those of you not in the know the, last night, before I went to game, we found that the Girly Girl was running a fever of, roughly, 102 degrees. The doctor was called and we were told to keep an eye on it. [livejournal.com profile] lunargypsie sent me off to go with [livejournal.com profile] sylvan to get [livejournal.com profile] gaaneden to go to game and help set up. About 10 or so, Girly Girl's fever had spiked to 104.7 and [livejournal.com profile] lunargypsie took her into the ER.

That should catch up everyone to where we were last night.

What we know: The fever is not the result of the flu.

That's all we know from the tests last night.

Today, her temperature is down to 100.4, still hot but not as much of a concern. She is up and she is active, presently engaged in a conversation with [livejournal.com profile] lunargypsie with regards to that most importat question, "Which is cooler? Pirates or ninjas?"

"Ninjas attack faster, so they're cooler."

Mom disagrees. ;)

Something for [livejournal.com profile] gaaneden...

...and maybe for you too, if you're in you're interested.

Anyways, she's been saying for some time now that she wanted to wait to purchase the Harry Potter books until the box set came out. Well, it'll be here soon.

On the road and moving...

[livejournal.com profile] gaaneden just called that she has made it through the first bout of snow and is making headway. She is approaching Cottage Grove, Oregon. By my guestimates, she should be home, safe and sound between 6pm and 7:30pm depending on the necessity of bathroom breaks and snackages. :)

Update about the Northward Trek

[livejournal.com profile] gaaneden is being hampered by snow in Jackson County, located in south Oregon around the California border. Traffic moving at a snails pace and she is prepared to stay in a hotel for the night. While there is a winter storm warning in effect for where she is at, Apocalypse Girl is prepared to deal with it. She even prides herself on solving the bathroom problem. ;)

She may not be home tonight and LJ is not letting her do phone posting so she's using proxies.

Thank you!

I had an awesome time at the Ted Party this evening! Thank you for inviting me, [livejournal.com profile] slyvan!

Not only was Ted way cool, but I finally got to meet [livejournal.com profile] kerrizor in the flesh! I have to say, that took far too long to happen! :) It was also good meeting [livejournal.com profile] najalaise, I think this is her LJ, and Phil. I'll have to collect Ted's and Phil's LJ accounts as well. It was fun hanging out with [livejournal.com profile] bluewingedcat and [livejournal.com profile] urbanwolfie, [livejournal.com profile] nikitalynn, and [livejournal.com profile] gaaneden.

It was mentioned tonight when I asked if anyone knew of a location of a wooden swing in a tree that I could shoot. The answer was "yes", but I didn't follow up with the "where" question? It would be way cool if I could get an answer to that question.

Yes, I had a great time!

On another note, I did three setups and shot about 20 photos this evening for me to go through for the Edge of Propinquity for the story image a really fucked up story. Yes, I liked.

Okay, it's time for me to go to bed.
