This system is a home brew design for a Firefly live action roleplaying game, designed to solve some common issues that crop up in a LARP environment. We just completed the 4th game of on Saturday.
As a new reader to my blog, the Girly Girl is the female offspring of gypsiequeen, she is 5 and an avid gamer already. She even plays World of Warcraft and has a 19th level hunter.
She approached me at the LARP on Saturday and she wanted play. I asked if she wanted to play a little girl on the station. "No, daddy. I want to play an elf," said in that exasperated way that only a 5 year old can manage. :)
you know what I've a friend (perditaxknit)who has seemingly (read drunkenly whilst waiting in the queue at midnight for HP7) agreed to run LARP at the 2008 Nationals...
can I point her in this direction as an idea for what to run next year?

I'm not familiar with this system...
Still, interesting. ^_^ I like playing male characters myself, but I've never jumped the age gap. They're always my age or a little younger.
Perhaps I should play an old woman next time just to liven things up.
