It's quizzes like this one that really make me curious. Are they random or do they apply some kind of hash to the data that's given? Sort of a technological numerology. Could be worse, could be technological phrenology.
Found out on Saturday that my brother is being deployed to Iraq again. He's in the Air National Guard and this time, he'll be stationed at an air base north of Baghdad. Lovely, eh? Apparently, they're rotating the guard men in on one month rotations.
I love my country, but I wonder if our war on terrorism isn't doing the opposite of what it's billed for? Are we creating more problems than we solve? An American contractor is killed in one of the most barbaric ways imaginable. Why? To incite terror. But we're not much better in the long view of things, are we? The fact that the prison abuse even happened is numbing. Yes, I love my country, but I fear my government.
I think I'm going to enact a new ritual. One I do once a week. I'll post details as the day goes on...
Oh, by the way, it's my wife's birthday. ;)
