After dealing with the Windows Server 2003 Telephone Product Activation Bug and the phone call that went till 2:30 in the morning (to be fair, I didn’t call until about 1am) I’ve gotten the web server up and running in a new body. If you ever get to a point where you need to activate Windows Server 2003 RTM after doing a “repair” from the CD and you can’t actually log in to apply the fix for the bug, you can log in under “safe mode” and install the hotfix that there. Product support didn’t know if that would work or not since he couldn’t find any documentation on this particular issue. I told him he should write a white paper about it. ;)

Nightmare at Beaver Lake is over for the year and while I enjoyed doing it immensely, I am so glad that it’s over. I can sleep normal hours and work full days again.
