A recruiter I work with--placed me in my current and previous positions--is looking for a web developer to work at Nintendo in Redmond. I'm happy where I'm at so I thought I pass this along to you all. Here are the specifics:
- 2+ experience with Javascript, jQuery, Mobile, HTML5, XML, CSS3 and ActionScript
- Experience scripting middle-tier application solutions and MVC programming frameworks
- Knowledge of source code/version control software
- Responsible for the underlying code of the interface and content for a variety of different online properties for Nintendo’s product marketing web sites
- Participates in all phases of the development life cycle, focusing on coding, testing, and debugging.
- Works on the maintenance or enhancement of existing applications
- Researches, evaluates and analyzes technical and design requirements
- Prepares proposals regarding content, security, features, standards, and creative new approaches for the use of web technology
- Implements all site programming
- Ability to effectively communicate information, both written and verbally to members of the development team
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of Internet tools, trends and developments
- 2 years+ related experience
- Experience scripting middle-tier application solutions and MVC programming frameworks.
- Experience with client-side technologies and frameworks; strong Javascript, jQuery, Mobile, HTML5, XML, CSS3 and ActionScript
- Knowledge of interaction design, usability, and information architecture preferred
- In-depth knowledge and experience with standard design software including PhotoShop and Illustrator
- Knowledge of source code/version control software, test driven development, and Agile processes preferred
- Profound commitment to and understanding of Web standards, both established and developing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines
- Self-motivated, highly creative problem solver
