The Abrams Report, for those of you who don't watch MSNBC is a daily news show that the legal system and how it impacts our lives. At first, I didn't care for the host, Dan Abrams, as he struck me as a pompous lawyer. Howerver, after watching it for a while, my view of him being pompous is incorrect and may have just been a knee-jerk reaction to appearances. Yes, I'm human. So sue me. :P
Anyway, yesterday the show had talked about the Log Cabin Republicans, a group of gay republicans, challenging the Clinton "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy. I missed the show yesterday, so I'm not sure what their issue with it was, one way or the other.
But after every show, Dan Abrams encourages people to e-mail him with their comments and then reads them back, reading e-mails from both sides of the issues.
In any case, one of the e-mails struck me a particulary funny and pretty much encapsulates my own philosophy on the issue...

"If a gay man or lesbian woman wants to join the military to protect my cowardly heterosexual butt, more POWER to them and a huge thank you!"Hehe. Had to share.
