New social virus?

This popped up in my junk mail folder today:

If your mom sees this she this video of you she is gonna freak. this is the link to it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B2bxD8VZP7L <h t t p : / / 6 8 . 1 4 9 . 3 8 . 1 8 1 />

The youtube.com link is bogus and the underlying URL that the href points to is an IP address.

Looks like a virus propagating itself.

Yeah, from what Amina told me this is an ugly new virus. Though perhaps you shouldn't even post it as a clickable link.... ;P

Well, the suspect URL isn't clickable. The youtube.com link is by the nature of the way that LJ handles URLs in the message. :p

Interestingly enough, when I opened a TELNET session into the webserver in question and issued a GET request to it, it didn't respond. *shrugs*
